All residents in Calderdale will shortly be receiving an information leaflet with practical advice about the Tour de France weekend. The leaflet also highlights the planning that is going into the Tour coming to Calderdale to make the day a success, and how residents can prepare for the big event, say Calderdale Council.
As well as practical advice, the leaflet highlights the opportunities to see the Tour and get involved in the 100 day cultural festival linked to the Tour de France. There are lots of free events happening across Calderdale from March 27 to July 6, including a grand piano being cycled up Cragg Vale, a ‘fantastical cycle parade’ and a puppet filled treasure hunt.
