The local food and drink producers at Great Rock Co-op, at Blackshaw Head’s Todmorden’s border, aim to make that goal easier with special shopping days on Saturdays, December 12 and 19 (10am to 2pm each day)
Free range turkeys are just one attraction amongst a fantastic range of locally produced food and drink, from Pextenement Cheese to Luddenden Valley Wines liqueurs, mostly produced within 10 miles, arts and crafts, a Christmas Café, children’s activities and a chance to make your own Christmas wreath.
“We’re all about supporting local producers and bringing the local community together,” says Jan Melloy, co-op member.
