This brigade of smart-looking gentlemen are from Hucknall Fire Service during the Second World War. Mrs Joan Wass, nee Brown, of Florence Street, Hucknall, brought it in to us at the Dispatch.
Her father, Walter Brown, is in the picture. Joan remembers the time he went to an aeroplane crash on Ruffs Drive which was very upsetting at the time.
