Speakers from Calderdale charity Healthy Minds will speak at Todmorden Patients’ Participation Group’s next meeting on Wednesday, October 15.
It starts at 7.30pm at New Oddfellows Hall, Oxford Street, Todmorden, and all are welcome. Healthy Minds is concerned with people’s well-being, said PPG spokesman Mr Tony Greenwood. Tony said figures showed a quarter of people in the UK will experience some sort of mental health problems every year, and ten per cent of them children.
“It’s an opportunity for people to come down and listen to them, and share experiences. It’s not so much a lecture as a chance to learn,” he said.
